Full time, Fixed-term opportunity until 31st December 2025 Utilise your expertise to provide support for Human Resource Workforce Systems users across the University through ensuring usability, data integrity, accuracy and compliance Base Salary $121,508 17% superannuation About the opportunity The primary purpose of this role is to lead continuous improvement projects and provide systems support to the Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a lead business or systems analyst managing continuous improvement initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end initiative delivery from leading discovery workshops and defining business requirements and systems specifications to designing test coverage and managing test execution. Working in the systems team, the successful candidate will interact with system vendors, solution architects, business analysts, business users, and management. Candidates should possess strong project skills and be able to work autonomously with little supervision. Experience in using the Workday or Ascender Pay system is highly desirable. What are we looking for? Ideal candidates for this role will be experienced in system/business analysis, design and implementation of information systems and continuous improvement initiatives within large organisations. You will possess excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities within complex business environments. We are looking for people who can build and maintain positive working relationships to influence key stakeholders and work consultatively to facilitate the delivery of quality outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: Perform in-depth business analysis, collaborate with HR teams to identify and document problems, identify root causes and r process and systems solutions. Create clear and concise documentation, including business cases, business requirements, user stories and systems requirements, Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project alignment. Lead and support systems integration projects to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing, roll out of system patches, fixes and updates to minimize disruptions, and communicate system improvements, updates and outages across the University Conduct detailed research and analysis as part of the broader Human Resources agenda and work with the reporting and analytics team to ensure system optimization and data accuracy and integrity. About you Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience Proven experience as a senior Business Analyst or in a similar role Experience with system integrations and a keen eye for process improvements Demonstrated experience working with a large, entity-wide HRIS dealing with extraction, analysis, and maintenance of data Experience managing or participating in HR system implementations, upgrades or system projects Previous experience in a shared service environment (HR or operational) Experience in delivering training to support the implementation or alteration to HRIS systems or processes Previous experience working in a Higher Education environment or large organisations.
