About the Job
The Property Maintenance Officer is a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and maintenance programs within our Retirement Living sites. This position encompasses general building duties, including refurbishments and both scheduled and emergency repairs.
A paramount objective of this role is to cultivate a safe and comfortable living environment for residents of Retirement Living sites. The scope of this position may be extended to incorporate other facilities across the organisation.
This position requires on-call duties as directed by the manager. For further details regarding the scope of the role, please refer to the attached position description.
About You
We are looking for individuals who will be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will have the following experience, skills and knowledge:
* Building maintenance or handyman services
* Preparing status reports
* Experience working within legislative and other compliance requirements
* Customer service / positive outcomes
* Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
* Ability to follow policy, procedures and other guidelines and standards
* Commitment to continuous improvement, creativity, innovation and meeting the needs of residents.
* General knowledge of gardening, landscaping and irrigation.
* General Knowledge of Building or facilities maintenance requirements.
