**Your new role**
- Inspecting and assessing property damage caused by various events such as storms, floods, fires, accidents, etc.
- Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed reports of your findings and recommendations
- Negotiating and settling claims with customers and third parties in a fair and professional manner
- Liaising and collaborating with other internal and external stakeholders such as contractors, repairers, engineers, ect
- Maintaining and updating your knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practice
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in property assessment, preferably in the insurance industry OR a qualified Trade with 5 years + experience
- A relevant qualification or certification in property assessment, building, construction, or related fields
- A valid driving licence
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
