**About the role**:
Hudson Trade centre Mitre 10 **Brookvale** are currently seeking an outgoing and knowledgeable individual to join their Trade yard team. The is a generalist position with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to; working in the trade yard, pick pack orders, truck loading & unloading, stock replenishment and general cleaning.
**What you will be doing**:
- Physical work with some heavy lifting required
- Loading & unloading of trucks
- Stock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policy
- Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
- Provide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer service
- Serving customers in the trade yard
- helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
- Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
- Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, both within a team and individually
- A focus on exceptional customer service and safety
**What you will bring**:
- Current Forklift licence definitely an advantage
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus.
- Timber & hardware product knowledge advantageous
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
- Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
- Sense of urgency
- An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- Ability to be available for work across the 5 days of the week which may include the occasional Saturday morning
