Job Description
Aurora Dairies are currently seeking an Assistant Farm Manager for a dairy farm inTantanoola, located on the banks of lake Bonney 15 minutes from Millicent in SE, South Australia
Bonney View farm is approximately 500ha in total with 260ha under centre pivot irrigation. Currently milking 800 cows through a 60 bail rotary shed with ACR's, auto teat spray, and is predominantly pasture based with grain fed in the dairy. This farm is 70% Spring and 30% Autumn calving starting in August and February.

This role will include tasks the areas of:
Supporting the farm manager as second in charge.
Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
Herd management and nutrition, including calving, hospital herd care, AI/mating planning, dairy shed work and more.
Irrigation and pasture management.
Supervising staff.
Machinery operation.
Repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
