We're currently expanding our team and looking for a Fleet Allocator to join us in delivering quality service to our customers.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to plan, schedule and ensure smooth operations by leaning on their experience in a similar role within the transport and logistics sector. If you're ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate loading and delivery tasks for the company alongside subcontracted drivers that are a part of the Mackay Metro & Linehaul Fleet
* Manage booking time slots for deliveries and collections to ensure trips are planned efficiently and completed by required cut off time
* Build strong relationships with customers, manage enquiries via phone and email, and resolve issues in line with company procedures.
* Manage bookings, consignment notes, manifests, and freight coordination with transport providers, internal teams, and the yard to ensure timely delivery.
* Address freight discrepancies, ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures, and consistently meet customer KPIs.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a similar position (transport and logistics experience is desirable, ideally around medium to large fleet operations)
* Previous experience in transport and logistics roles, with knowledge of TMS systems and metro area operations being desirable.
* Proficiency in data entry, tracking systems, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal), critical thinking, creative problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
* Capability to address service issues effectively while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
