Senior Financial Accountant Role
Skip the routine and take ownership of the end-to-end month-end process for a leading services group. As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll contribute to core financial operations across the group, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with tax and accounting standards, and supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles.
This includes completing end-to-end month-end close including journals and reconciliations, as well as providing monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Complete month-end close procedures including journal entries and account reconciliations.
 * Provide support for monthly management reports and analyze variances.
 * Assist in group consolidation and prepare consolidation journals.
 * Manage GL reconciliations, revenue interface reviews, and lease accounting.
 * Prepare BAS, payroll tax, FBT, and assist with income tax compliance.
 * Reconcile bank accounts and support treasury operations.
 * Provide data and analysis for budgeting, reforecasting, and strategic planning.
 * Contribute to external audits and prepare statutory reporting as required.
 * Participate in system integration and finance transformation projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
 * CA/CPA Qualified.
 * 1+ years post qualification experience.
 * Chartered first or second mover ideal.
 * Proficient in systems such as MYOB, Xero, TM1.
 * A 'can-do' attitude with a growth mindset.
 * Excellent communication skills to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
 * Self-motivated to drive function improvement.
