Overview

This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency.

The School

Hedland Senior High School (SHS), located in the Pilbara, is an Independent Public-School catering for students from Year 7 to Year 12. The school emphasises positive behaviour supports focused on care, courtesy, respect and responsibility. The Role

Teachers at Hedland SHS are focused on creating outstanding outcomes for students and empowering every learner. The role is within a team-oriented, supportive team that values data-driven practice to drive improvement. The successful applicant will strive for excellence in Digital Technologies teaching and deliver a range of courses from Year 7 to 12, including senior ATAR and general courses as well as lower school electives. Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department\'s Screening Unit.
