Our maternity service is the largest maternity provider in Victoria providing care to 12,000 women each year across four hospitals: Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong,Casey and Sandringham. Monash Women's provides maternity care for well women and women with more complex and specialty needs. **About the Role**

A great opportunity is now available for an experienced Administration Assistant to join us, providing high level executive support to the Director Clinical Operations within the Women's & Children's program, Head of Obstetrics at Clayton/Sandringham and Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dandenong and Casey. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with our executive team, managing their diaries, which can change at short notice. Other key responsibilities of the role include:

- coordinating meetings including venue bookings, preparing agendas and minutes;
- preparing executive level presentations, documents and Chief Executive briefings;
- working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and their representatives when needed; and
- providing efficient and effective administrative support and office management for the broader Women's and Newborn team.

This is a Permanent Part-time position, 0.8 EFT Monday to Friday between the hours of 0800 - 1700.

**About You**

You are an experienced Administration Assistant who demonstrates a flexible, can-do attitude and strong organisational, communication and time management skills. Your proactive approach and ability to "think on your feet" when responding to changing demands will serve you well in a dynamic environment. From time to time you will also engage with patients in sensitive and confidential matters, and an ability to demonstrate empathy is imperative. You're an exceptional team player who builds trust readily and you are also highly IT proficient. Previous experience in a large, complex organisation is preferred although a healthcare background is not essential.

**What you need**:

- Extensive Administrative experience
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to prioritise own workload, multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Highly organised, ability to prioritise and multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication and literacy skills
- Proficient in the use of PC Windows, including Outlook, SharePoint, ELO, UKG, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
- Previous exposure to and understanding of a health care system or complex organisation
- Previous exposure to contract administration
