The Role

CYIPL is seeking an experienced IT technical focused Pama Platform Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects that underpin the implementation of the Personal Responsibility and Opportunity Act (PR+O Act) Program, a nationally significant, long term reform agenda supporting family capability development across Cape York and beyond.

You will work closely with technical teams, internal stakeholders, vendors, and organisational leaders to bring the Pama Platform to life, ensuring our systems, applications, and data infrastructure support a future where all families can access the opportunities they need to thrive.

This is an ideal role for a proactive, solutions focused project leader who is confident navigating technical complexity and delivering digital products in dynamic environments.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading end-to-end delivery of IT and digital projects, from initiation to implementation-to-end delivery
* Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
* Coordinating internal technical teams and ensuring alignment with organisational IT standards.
* Acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders, IT specialists, and external vendors.
* Overseeing implementation of systems, applications, cloud services, and infrastructure.
* Monitoring progress, managing risks, and reporting to governance groups and leadership.
* Managing project scope, change control, and quality assurance.
* Ensuring projects meet security, compliance, and operational readiness requirements.

What You'll Need

Essential

* Degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience delivering complex IT technical projects end-to-end.
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, digital systems, and application development.
* Experience working with cross functional teams, including technical and business units.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working in a dynamic and evolving change environment with the ability to adapt and pivot based on project direction.
* Exposure to agile delivery methodologies.
* Ability to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and successfully complete a Police Check.

Desirable

* Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
* Experience in government, community, or enterprise scale IT environments.
* Familiarity with ITIL, cybersecurity frameworks, or cloud platforms.
