: 20 hours per week. Monday to Friday
Note: All training required will be up to full-time hours (first 3 months).
What will your day look like?
As a Banking Consultant, you will:
Generate opportunities for deposits and home lending using the agreed sales process.
Provide recommendations to the Branch Manager for initiatives to improve sales performance of the store.
Assess customer needs through open and targeted communication with customers and recommend appropriate options using the agreed sales process.
Provide accurate and timely service by processing over-the-counter transactions (deposits, withdrawals and transfers) in an efficient and accurate manner.
Support and educate customers on how to use our digital platforms for personal banking, empowering them to self-serve with online banking features.
Provide support for digital onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new customers to make the most of their banking services.
Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Suncorp Bank's values.
Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues related to your role responsibilities and capture them as service requests in Ignite. Adhere to Suncorp Bank's complaint resolution process to resolve matters and mitigate further risks.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales & service environment
Comfortable with digital customer service platforms to assist customers in real-time
Ability to navigate and troubleshoot common digital banking applications and mobile services with customers
Understanding of digital verification and ID validation systems used in customer onboarding
Proficiency in digital payment technologies, such as mobile wallets and online payments
Ability to handle and assist with digital banking queries, empowering customers to manage their accounts online
