Remuneration: $83,367 – $109,407.01 (plus 12% Superannuation)

BKI is seeking a Community Teacher with a specific background in Youth Work to join our Health and Community Centre of Excellence (HACCOE) Department at Broadmeadows Campus. You will teach and inspire the next generation in ultra‐modern facilities equipped with simulated labs for community sector training. About The Role
The key purpose of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency‐based assessment in specified program(s) across classroom, workplace and online environments to support our vision of being a leading educator and trainer in work and life skills.
We Are Excited About You Because You Have
* Certificate IV in Youth Work OR Diploma of Youth Work
* Diploma in Community Service
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to enrol
* Relevant industry experience working in the Youth sector (essential)
* Relevant industry experience working across the Community Sector (essential)
* Capability to teach units across the Community Service Portfolio, including Family Violence, Mental Health, etc.
Experience and Knowledge
* High level of industry experience with Youth and an understanding of their challenges
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Understanding of cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity
* Ability to identify language, literacy and numeracy issues
* Adaptable communication style suitable for different audiences and contexts
* Capability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
* Knowledge of digital and blended learning concepts and practices, applying them as supplements to learning programmes
* Ability to use digital learning for administrative functions, communication, collaboration and presentations
* Maintenance of a current driver's licence where relevant
