Australian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational, Christian Education organisation, whose mission is to develop each and every student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish into their full potential, and be a positive influence on the world around them. ACC is part of Christian Education Ministries (CEM), with 17 schools in 5 states, and is also the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.
ACC Southlands is a growing school community located in the beautiful city of Albany. There are approximately 330 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 on-campus with a further 700 students from Pre-primary to Year 12 in our Distance Education cohort. Although we are growing rapidly, we are focused on sustainably stewarding God's creation and we have a heart that all students will be well known, well loved, and well taught. Requirements
About the role
We are seeking a Part-Time (40 hours per fortnight) Bus Driver to commence as soon as possible to provide the following support:
* Split Shift Hours: am before school and pm after school
* The potential for additional casual driving.
* Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes.
* Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with our students.
* Adhere to the allocated schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
* Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps.
* Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior, promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment for students.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus.
* Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well-being and maintaining order.
