About the role
The Transport Coordinator will manage the road transport activities at the Port Augusta depot and other locations, when required. This role is permanent, full-time and based at the Port Augusta depot.
* Coordinating day-to-day deliveries of petroleum products to internal and external customers.
* Effective and efficient allocation of labour and equipment to meet demand.
* Minimising costs through efficient route scheduling and load maximisation.
* Manage Mass, Fatigue and Maintenance procedures for the fleet and drivers.
* Participating and/or leading driver toolbox meetings and Managing driver timesheets and rosters.
About you
* TLIF 0006 Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System required (or willing to obtain)
* An understanding of NHVR, HVNL, and CoR is desirable
* Good computer skills including Excel and IVMS systems
* Knowledge of the fuel distribution industry in Australia is highly desirable
* Flexibility to work outside of hours and be on-call, when required.
