Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Carpenter. The successful candidate will work on-site at a hospital in Adelaide, undertaking reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor modifications across various facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out carpentry tasks within specified timeframes and quality standards, based on drawings, templates, and instructions.
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs, maintenance, and minor modifications in line with safety and compliance requirements.
* Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely, and assist with non-mechanical maintenance and construction activities.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic documentation uploaded to systems.
* Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the service delivery team to support smooth operations.
* Complete tasks within time constraints, escalate issues as needed, and contribute to safety culture and continuous improvement.
About You
* Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent).
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Current White Card (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Demonstrated experience in carpentry maintenance and new works, ideally in a healthcare setting.
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks within time constraints.
* Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
