At Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA), we're the authorised Cat dealer for power systems across Australia, PNG, and the Solomon Islands. We power industries with world-class engines, generators, and hybrid energy solutions—and now we're looking for a mechanical legend to join our team.
This is afield-based rolebased in Kalgoorlie with travel throughout regional areas, offering plenty of variety, autonomy, and exposure to industry-leading technology.
You will be trained in the key job requirements including, remote engine monitoring systems, fault finding and repair in a field service environment. The role includes regular travel within the region to support our growing customer base and an on-call roster with great overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diesel generators and mechanical systems
* Diagnose and repair faults in engines, cooling systems, and fuel systems
* Complete inspections, testing and commissioning as required
* Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
* Liaise with customers and EPSA teams to deliver a high level of service and support
What We're Looking For
* Trade qualification as aDiesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician
* Previous experience working with power generation equipment or heavy diesel engines
* Strong mechanical diagnostics and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote environments
* Valid driver's licence (HR licence preferable)
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site induction requirements
