Customer Service Officer – Bendigo Advertiser
Newcastle & Hybrid | Start: January ****. Join the EDConnect Service & Channels team. In this fast-paced Contact Centre environment, you will be the first point of contact for school-based and corporate staff, providing vital advice on Finance, Human Resources, and Technical Systems.
Key Duties
Deliver high-quality customer service through strong engagement in a high-volume contact centre.
Handle customer enquiries promptly and courteously while maintaining confidentiality and using discretion.
Identify, refer and assign non-standard or complex enquiries to the relevant Centre of Expertise for action and resolution.
Maintain currency in knowledge of policy, legislation and related business processes to respond to customer needs efficiently and effectively.
Maintain accurate data records in a customer management system to ensure timely resolution of enquiries.
Confidently use multiple technology platforms and databases simultaneously.
Adhere to and meet Contact Centre KPI's on a daily and monthly basis.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated experience in Customer Service (Contact Centre, Retail or Face-to-Face).
Tech savvy: ability to use multiple technology platforms and databases concurrently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage yourself and show initiative.
Availability to work a rotating roster of 7.5 hours/day between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Remuneration & Practical Details
Salary: $***** per hour + Super
Start Date: 12th January ****
Contract Length: Until 26th June **** (with possibility of extension)
Training: 4-5 weeks of full-time onsite training in Newcastle
Work Location: After training, work 2 days in the office and the rest from home.
