The Job
This will be part of a fast paced team environment focusing on building strong customer relationships through local freight deliveries and pickups.
Flexible with varied working hours, including weekends and overtime with penalty rates.
Work to deliver high levels of service to our customers through effectively transporting general freight supporting the community.
Take responsibility for safely and securely loading and unloading a variety of freight with some manual handling of parcel freight.
Completing daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork including pre-start checks as well as filling out run sheets, PODs and logbooks.
Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload general freight.
Qualifications
Hold a current MR license with proven experience operating a Heavy Vehicle for a minimum of 2 years.
A strong level of resilience and ability to problem solve coupled with the capability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
Have a passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all our customers.
Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, as well as a criminal history check if required.
