What You'll Do
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll build strong, long-term customer relationships across our diverse customer base—including local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. Your focus is to deliver an exceptional experience every time, whether you're assisting customers in-store or over the phone, while:
* Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
* Processing livestock sales / Stud stock sales
* Administrative support for finance clients & finance facilities
* Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
* Processing counter sales
* Maintaining safety processes
* Assisting with merchandise campaign material
* Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
* Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
What You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you'll bring proven experience supporting a team in a busy, customer-focused environment. You're passionate about Australian farming and agriculture, and ideally you'll have knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. You'll also demonstrate:
* Experience working within a sales environment
* Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
* A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
* Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* A current driver's license is essential
* Truck and a forklift ticket is advantageous
