About the Role
Stewards play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchens by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed, sanitised, and stored properly.
Some of the responsibilities include
* Clean and maintain areas to Hyatt Hotel Canberra Standards, ensuring that all equipment and cleaning schedules are followed
* Maintain operating equipment in good condition and ensure it is returned to its designated storage place.
* Count and update glassware and crockery for all outlets
* Perform general cleaning duties in accordance with procedures for each work station.
* Cleaning walls in all kitchens, walls in all corridors and centenary kitchen (tables, shelves, sinks)

Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
* Current experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
* Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
