About The Role
Duties
* Undertake general administrative/finance duties including data entry, accounts and financial processing, reconciliations, stock levels, and oversee maintenance documentation and other operational functions for the Centre.
* Provide general receptionist services including managing front line telephone, email and direct enquiries.
* Assist with the development, acquisition and acquittal of grants and financial partnerships which support the strategic plans of the Centre.
* Research and collect statistics on the audience engagement, participation and attendance to provide a holistic picture of the reach and impact of the Centre's programs and initiatives.
* Other accountabilities and responsibilities as directed by Coordinator Goldfields Arts Centre.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Centre by sharing ideas, identifying process improvements and offering solutions to opportunities.
* Support team members in the preparation and implementation of events and bookings.
* Accurately maintain registers, records, reporting and filing systems in accordance with the City's approved policies and procedure.
Who We Are Looking For
To be considered for this position, you will need
* Qualification relevant to Business and/or Administration and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise effectively with internal and external customers.
* High level of administrative, planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines across several projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong team player and mentor with excellent leadership skills including proven ability to work autonomously with initiative, forward thinking and capacity to solve problems and make decisions.
* Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of application.
* Current satisfactory National Police Clearance.
* Current WA "C" Class driver's licence.
