Our Traffic Control division is experiencing substantial growth, driven by strong partnerships with some of the most respected Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators in the industry. As demand continues to increase across the Newcastle, Central Coast, and Hunter regions, we are expanding our workforce to meet project requirements.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking 10 experienced Traffic Controllers to join our high-performing team on a casual ADHOC basis. This role offers flexible work, averaging 2-3 shifts per week, across both day and night works, depending on project demand.
You will be engaged across a mix of short-term and ongoing projects, working with professional crews who prioritise safety, communication, and delivery excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Implement and work in accordance with approved Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
· Operate Stop/Slow bat and complete general site setup and pack down
· Communicate effectively and appropriately with all clients, site personnel, and the general public
· Uphold safety standards and professional conduct on every shift
WHAT WE OFFER
· Industry-leading pay rates and allowances ($70 per hour + site allowance / $65 per day Travel allowance) with all overtime paid at Double Time.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for reliable, experienced Traffic Controllers with a strong safety-first mindset and a professional approach to site operations.
Essential requirements:
· Minimum 3 years' traffic control experience
· WHS White Card & Silica Awareness Training Certificate
· Stop/Slow Bat Ticket (RIIWHS205E)
· Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP) qualification
· Sound understanding of TGSs and TMPs
· Current driver's licence and reliable transport
· Availability to work ADHOC shifts at short notice
· Physically fit and able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing
· Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
