About the role
Bacena Capital is seeking an experienced and ambitious Accounting/Admin to join our growing team in our Surfers Paradise office. This full-time role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our client services team, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing Balance Sheet
* Preparing P&L
* Providing general administrative support as required
* Account Payable & Account Receivable
* Familiar with Xero and Oracle Netsuite
* Abilities to do Bookkeeping, account reconciliations and tax return preparation.
* Preparation for BAS Lodgement
* Maintain general ledger and perform journal entries
* Consolidation
* Handling reception duties and greeting clients in a professional manner
* Providing administrative support to the client services team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organising travel arrangements
* Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
* Assisting with the preparation of client reports and presentations
* Ordering and managing office supplies
* This is a hybrid role covering accounting/finance support, administrative duties, and personal assistant responsibilities.
What we're looking for
* At least 2 years of experience in an Accounting or client services role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* A professional and customer-focused attitude
* Abilities to do Balance Sheet, P&L, Bookkeeping, account reconciliations, consolidation and tax return preparation.
