We are partnering with a well-established, internationally recognised pump manufacturer that is expanding its footprint across Western Australia. This is an opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high-value territory covering the East Coast and Pilbara region, working with key players in mining and heavy industry.

About the Role
This is a high-impact, autonomous role focused on driving new business and expanding market presence across Western Australia, particularly within the Pilbara region.
You will be responsible for new pump sales directly to end users, while also identifying and developing service agreements and aftermarket opportunities, positioning the full capability of the business across mining and mineral processing operations.
The role will suit someone with an established network within mineral processing in the Pilbara, or a technically strong sales professional with experience across pumps, valves, conveyors, or wear parts, who is motivated to take full ownership of a territory and drive long-term growth.
You'll be expected to spend significant time in the field, building relationships and uncovering opportunities, with travel requirements of approximately 10+ days per month across WA.
This position offers a clear pathway into a State Manager role for a high performer looking to step into leadership within a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across WA (Pilbara focus)
* Drive new pump sales to mining and industrial end users
* Identify and grow service agreements and aftermarket business
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients
* Work closely with engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
* Consistency in achieving and exceeding sales targets
* Travel regularly across the assigned territory
About You
* Proven experience in BDM / Sales within mining, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors
* Background in pumps, valves, conveyors, or wear parts
* Strong track record of selling into mining or mineral processing clients
* Established network in the Pilbara region (highly regarded)
* Mechanical Engineering background (preferred but not essential)
* Commercially astute with strong relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
* Willing and able to travel extensively (10+ days per month)
