Research Officer Position
This is a full-time fixed-term position until December 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension. The role will be based at Curtin University in Bentley.
About the Role
The Research Officer will provide expert research and administrative support to a range of women's health projects led by researchers within the School of Nursing at Curtin University.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate project activities with guidance and support, including facilitating the development and maintenance of project management plans and documentation.
* Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure effective contribution to the project.
* Provide a range of project management and administration support, including developing and maintaining stakeholder databases, communication plans and activities, and project resources such as websites and flyers.
* Provide research-related contribution and support for a range of activities including literature reviews, applications for grant funding, ethics proposals, manuscripts and conference presentations.
* Collect, process and contribute to the analysis of research data including interpretation and documentation of findings, under the guidance of a Research Fellow.
* Provide executive support to project committees and meetings.
* Help identify and resolve operational issues and project risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated discipline-specific knowledge and experience in relevant research methods, including demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret statistical data and synthesise information effectively to inform decision-making and reporting.
* Proven ability to effectively coordinate and implement project activities, demonstrating strong organisational skills, intrinsic motivation and a proactive approach to managing work activities and deliverables.
* Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of effectively liaising with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders, exhibiting cross-cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
* Proven experience working collaboratively within a team environment, showing respect for diversity, providing support to colleagues, accepting guidance and direction, and contributing effectively toward achieving group objectives.
