What work will you do?
Provide advice and support on the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of commercial contracts
Lead and support intellectual property protection strategies across multiple jurisdictions
Advise on marketing claims, promotions, product launches and global consumer law considerations
Assist the business on regulatory updates and flag material changes affecting operations
Support cross‑border privacy and data protection frameworks
Assist with strategic growth projects and investments
Support on disputes and litigation matters
Manage external legal counsel and ensure commercially aligned outcomes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including templates, playbooks and legal operations tools
What type of person will be successful?
Admitted as a solicitor in Australia
6+ years PQE, ideally in intellectual property, commercial law, technology, privacy or consumer law
Some in‑house experience is highly beneficial
Strong drafting skills, with the ability to prepare complex commercial agreements independently
A willingness to help develop the legal function in Australia with support from a wider regional team
Excellent verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
Commercial mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast‑paced environment
