About the role
Immakulate Constructions is seeking a talented General Manager to join our team in Warragul, VIC. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing business forecasting and projections, overseeing employee progression, and implementing strategic direction of our growing construction business. What you'll be doing
* Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
* Oversee day-today operations, project delivery, and performance of multiple sites
* Manage financial planning, cashflow forecasting, profit and loss projection, insurance capacities, budgeting, and reporting to ensure the company's financial stability and performance
* Oversee procurement, supply chain, and inventory management to optimise efficiency
* Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
* Oversee financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, Job Costing, and Financial Reporting
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory obligations, including BAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance requirements
* Oversee employment, employee review coordination, entitlement tracking and documentation management
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or senior leadership role within the construction industry
* Strong financial acumen and proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Proven track record in operational excellence, project management, and driving process improvements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members
* Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing and motivating high-performing teams
* Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., business, construction management, or accounting)
