The Opportunity
We're looking for a results‐driven Account Manager to manage a portfolio of key builders and support the conversion of small builders within Melbourne. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you'll play a critical role in advancing James Hardie's growth of High Value Products by targeting builders in the single‐family new construction and multi‐family segments. You'll implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to strengthen our competitive position and deliver sustainable profitable growth.
What You'll Do
* Develop integrated business plans to drive repeat usage and advocacy of the Hardie Architectural Range
* Execute strategies to influence housing design and replace traditional materials with fibre cement
* Identify new opportunities in collaboration with Territory Managers
* Train builders on design, estimation, and installation to optimize cost and quality outcomes
* Manage builder association relationships and promote James Hardie High Value Products
* Deliver proof points for conversions and drive scalable awareness through events and training
* Proactively sell value through customers and local sales teams
What you'll bring
* Minimum 3 years' sales experience with a proven track record in business development with top builders
* Building industry experience essential, ideally in single‐family or multi‐family segments
* Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills
* Ability to work strategically and tactically to deliver outcomes
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience desirable
