Who are we and what we need
Independent Timber Supplies are a WA business that is locally owned and been operating for over 30 years. We service a range of Project Builders, Custom Builders and Owner Builders with our timber supply and Manufacturing of prefabricated frames and trusses in the Western Australian building market.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Training Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is essential in supporting a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace. You will be responsible for coordinating our training content and programs, while promoting a positive safety culture across the organisation.
This role will offer you the chance to take your current skills and accreditation and grow with us. We are open to working hours that may be reduced over a 5-day week.
About the role:
· Support and facilitate the development and implementation of training, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
· Conduct regular workplace training, audits, and reporting.
· Support incident investigations and assist in developing corrective actions.
· Develop, coordinate, and deliver training, inductions, and competency programs.
· Maintain accurate training records, registers, and documentation.
· Monitor legislative changes and provide guidance to managers and staff.
· Encourage a proactive safety culture through communication, engagement, and support.
To Successful you will need:
* Have accreditation in a discipline of Training and Assessment or Human Resources, or relevant experience in a similar role for 3+ years.
* Be able to demonstrate at interview experience even if limited or capacity to step into this role.
* Wanting a long-term employment with the desire to learn, grow and develop.
* Be able to work Monday to Friday- Rockingham location.
* Willingness to Drug and Alcohol testing prior to employment and understanding. during employment random testing is conducted.
* Ability to provide a Police Clearance should it be required for your role.
* Be able to provide references to support your application when requested.
