Librarian
Fixed Term Full Time (Until June 2026)
$84,000 – $97, % Super
Based between Kelmscott and Seville Grove | 9-day fortnight | No weekends
New Industrial Agreement means a pay rise locked in for July 2026 as well
As the third fastest growing local government in WA, our community is changing. Sure there is an increase in number of people who are lucky enough to live, work or play here. But beyond the numbers, we recognise that how we do things needs to keep pace with community expectations.
We have worked with our community to develop aspirational targets and need your help to make this come true.
About the Role
Based across the Kelmscott and Seville Grove Libraries, you'll be at the heart of a passionate, forward-thinking team delivering services that matter. As a Librarian, you'll help supervise a small team, lead community and outreach programs, and make libraries a place of discovery for children, young people, and families.
You'll bring energy and creativity to the way we design and deliver learning experiences — from rhyme time and author visits to school engagement and early literacy programs. You'll also guide others in providing exceptional customer experiences and help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover a secondment, with the potential for future opportunities beyond June 2026.
