We are looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in taking an ‘industry and stakeholder’ first approach to developing effective communication, education and engagement strategies, materials and information campaigns. You’ll have plenty of support working closely with friendly subject matter experts across Access Canberra to create timely stakeholder messages. We are looking for someone who likes editing sometimes complex regulatory and legislative information into everyday language, which will help educate community and industry. Eligibility/Other Requirements: The following capabilities form the criteria that are required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge: Expertise and professional experience in working in multidisciplinary communications, education and/or engagement teams. Understanding of contemporary communications and media practices. Knowledge of, and exposure to, complex regulatory agencies and organisations or information. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary education qualifications such as in Communications, Marketing and/or Public Relations would be beneficial. Notes: This is a temporary position available from November 2025 for a period of four months with the possibility of extension up to six months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
