The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team on local construction projects across Far North Queensland (Mareeba, Mossman, Malanda, Ravenshoe, Tully, other).
These are project-based opportunities, ideal for reliable tradespeople who take pride in their work and want consistent local employment.
In this role you will be:
* Assist with carpentry and general construction tasks across site
* Perform framing, fix-out, installation and general labouring duties as required
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Follow plans, drawings and instructions from supervisors
* Maintain quality workmanship and meet productivity expectations
* Work cooperatively as part of a site team
* Comply with all WHS and site safety requirements
* Maintain reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
* Keep work areas clean, safe and organised

What we're looking for
* Qualified Carpenters
* Own full toolkit and reliable transport essential
* Strong work ethic, quality workmanship, and productivity
* Excellent attendance and reliability
* Ability to work well within a team and follow site requirements
* Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
* Full physical fitness is required to meet the demands of this construction role
* Roofing experience (desired)
What's On Offer
* Competitive hourly - $49.66/hr. Daily overtime - $69.53/hr
* contract rates (based on experience) - TBC
* Ongoing work for the duration of the project
* LAHFA - $121.95/day (when working away from home)
* Accommodation whilst on site - if you're not a local
