About the Opportunity

KBR is looking for a motivated Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to join a Defence program focused on modernising and uplifting critical Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities that help protect Australia's national security.

In this role, you'll be involved across the full capability lifecycle from early design and testing through to production, sustainment, and eventual disposal. You'll work closely with Defence personnel, industry partners, and technical teams, helping ensure logistics and sustainment arrangements are practical, integrated, and support long-term operational readiness.

What You'll Be Doing

* Developing, updating, and maintaining ILS plans and supporting documentation
* Reviewing contractor ILS deliverables and CDRLs
* Supporting transition planning, business cases, scoping, costing, and procurement activities
* Preparing briefs, reports, and logistics-related correspondence
* Contributing ILS inputs across the Capability Life Cycle
* Conducting sparing, maintenance, and supportability analyses
* Ensuring compliance with Defence logistics policy, legislation, and technical regulations
* Supporting infrastructure and facilities planning, including volumetric assessments
* Using and supporting Defence supply chain systems such as MILIS, ERP, and DIDS
* Coordinating warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities
* Managing the movement of Defence ICT equipment for exercises and operations
* Handling and distributing classified material in accordance with Defence requirements
* Supporting asset management, cataloguing, inventory accuracy, and procurement approvals

About You

* 3–5+ years' experience in ILS or logistics engineering
* Experience working in a Defence environment (ADF, APS, or industry)
* Hands-on experience with Defence inventory and supply systems, especially MILIS and ERP
* A good understanding of ILS Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCCs)
* Experience developing ILS documentation and working with ASDEFCON templates
* Exposure to supportability analysis (LORA, spares, maintenance evaluations)
* An understanding of risk management and basic life-cycle costing
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams
* The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with Export Controls or Electronic Warfare concepts (nice to have, not essential)
