Construction Supervisor

G.J. Gardner Homes Port Augusta is on the hunt for a skilled and proactive Construction Supervisor to join our team. We're looking for an all-rounder who's ready to take ownership of our projects and ensure every home build is a success, from the first sod to the final maintenance period.
This is a key role where you’ll be the face of G.J. Gardner Homes on site, managing the entire build process. You'll build strong relationships with our trades and suppliers, and ensure every detail is looked after, even after the keys are handed over.
The Role
As our Construction Supervisor, your main responsibility will be overseeing residential builds. But we need someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and do whatever is needed to get the job done right. This includes:
- Supervising builds and ensuring all work is completed to our high-quality standards.
- Managing site logistics and making sure deliveries arrive on time and with the correct materials.
- Maintaining a clean and protected site, and prepping houses for final handover.
- Coordinating and managing maintenance periods to ensure client satisfaction continues long after handover.
- Holding trades accountable for their work and deadlines, while also fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
- Proactively identifying and solving problems to keep projects moving forward.
Is This You?
We're open to candidates with a range of experience. You might be:
- An experienced Construction Supervisor with a proven track record in residential building.
- A skilled Carpenter who is ready to step off the tools and into a full-time Supervisor role.
Ideally, you have a strong network of local trades and a deep understanding of the building process. What's most important is your commitment to quality, your ability to manage multiple tasks, and your willingness to do what it takes to deliver an exceptional home for our clients.
