Project Overview
Shoalhaven Water's water capital works projects require a skilled and motivated leader to oversee their planning and delivery across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead and execute water capital works projects in compliance with Shoalhaven Water's processes
* Coordinate/undertake investigations, detailed designs, drafting, and estimates of projects to ensure satisfactory completion of the capital works program
* Engage actively in project reviews and provide feedback / recommendations for improvement
* Ensure projects meet required specifications within specified tolerances of time, cost, scope, benefits, and risk
* Establish, maintain, and update project plans and compile progress reports
* Prepare tender documents, designs, and specifications, and assist in the tendering and assessment processes
* Undertake project and contract management, including contract administration to ensure compliance with specification and contract conditions
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will have:
* Degree qualifications in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
* Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
* Current General Construction Induction card (WhiteCard), SafeWork
* Class C Driver's Licence
* Demonstrated experience in all facets of project management
* Demonstrated experience in all facets of contract management and contract administration
