The ADF Rehabilitation Consultant plays a vital role in helping individuals recover from injury or illness and return to service. Working closely with various stakeholders, this professional draws upon their clinical skills to support individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with employees, medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans.
* Conduct initial assessments and worksite reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for return to wellness.
* Manage cases effectively, ensuring timely implementation and monitoring of rehabilitation plans.
Requirements:
* Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or equivalent qualifications and experience.
* Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or related field.
* Experience in case management and professional documentation/report writing is highly desirable.
* Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of common goals.
* Passion for helping people rehabilitate and achieve optimal health outcomes.
Occupational therapists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, rehabilitation counsellors, osteopaths, or social workers with appropriate professional registration are also encouraged to apply.
