The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Farrer, ACT, Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 17:30 pm
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our customers in aged care and values a well-run kitchen.
What This Role Involves:
* Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
* Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
* Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
* Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
* Assisting the broader team as required
* Regular client meetings and dietary updates
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
* Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
* Strong communication skills
* Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
