About the Role
GrainCorp Foods is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. Based in West Footscray, this role reports directly to the National Business Manager and partners closely to deliver exceptional value creation, growth, project management, and innovation across the Bakery portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a 70/30 split between account management and new customer relationships/NPD with B2B customers and distributors.
* Undertake effective technical account management across Bakery through applied knowledge in a mid-large manufacturing setting
* Manage margin, volume & customer service levels to existing and new accounts through effective call cycle, forecasting, pricing, etc.
* NPD project management of product development and trials of new products in conjunction with Innovations stream to deliver customer requirements
* Implement long-term agreements and complete quarterly reviews with key customers
* Prepare and analyse sales and performance reports to identify areas of opportunity for improvement for GrainCorp and the customer
Key skills required include trade qualification in Baking and/or Pastry, excellent communication and relationship management skills, presentation skills, computer literacy in CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, accurate data management, and numerical ability.
About Your Experience
You'll be responsible for managing large business-to-business account relationships and have experience in presenting plans, reports, and reviews to senior management.
