You will have a strong commitment to social justice, human rights, cultural safety, and to the rights of all people to be treated with dignity and respect. You are committed to advocating and empowering children, young people, and their families. Leave is encouraged to be taken during school holiday periods due to decreased work demands, including taking leave during the Christmas closure period (25th of December to 1st of January).Make a real difference in the lives of students, families, and communities.QualificationsEssential: An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to:have a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed and which is required to be renewed every five years before expirybe registered under the Social Workers Registration Board South Australia, required by January 2026undertake RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which is required to be updated every three years.
