**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Level 2 to join our Maternal Child and Family Health (MACH) team at Canberra Health Services. As a MACH nurse or midwife, you will provide vital community-based care to families across the ACT, supporting them from early pregnancy to childhood development.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with families to promote healthy growth, identify concerns early, and empower parents and carers to thrive in their roles. Our work focuses on creating a ripple effect that builds a stronger, healthier community by advocating for breastfeeding, child safety, immunisation, and emotional wellbeing.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide home visits, developmental health checks, and tailored parenting support to families across the ACT
- Work within a Family Partnership Model alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Identify and address concerns early to promote healthy growth and development
- Empower parents and carers to thrive in their roles and build a stronger, healthier community

**Requirements**
- Registration as a Registered Nurse Level 2 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Ability to work within a Family Partnership Model and alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to empower parents and carers
**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience in community-based care and family partnership models
- Strong understanding of breastfeeding, child safety, immunisation, and emotional wellbeing principles
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
