About the role
We are Seeking a Production Estimator to join our team. The Rawson Group are growing and in need of a skilled in individual to accurately estimate the costs/quantities of materials, labour, and equipment required for construction of Class 1 Residential Homes. You will support the wider Estimating team producing highly accurate measurements & take-offs to prepare and deliver timely BOQ's. The successful applicant understands that communication and teamwork are key to success as you partner with supplier and subcontractors to obtain pricing and provision of goods/services. You will manage and review plans, specifications and schedules to ensure all information is captured, prepare purchase orders and ensure strict adherence to budgets and estimates. Reporting and providing feedback to the Estimating Team Leader for amendments to the master BOQ's and commentary around ETS' to improve processes and reduce variances on future builds.

Key Responsibilities
* Produce highly accurate and detailed BOQ's for Class 1 Residential Homes
* Liaise with Suppliers and contractors to secure pricing for projects
* Manage BOQ's and quotes to match supplier agreements
* Review plans and specifications to eliminate errors or conflicting information
* Prepare P.O's and ensure project estimates are budgeted to minimize ETS'
* Report and provide feedback for all ETS' to improve processes
About You
Qualifications
* Degree or Certificate IV in Building & Construction Management
* Understanding of the construction process and terminology
* Working knowledge of the Building Code and regulations
Professional
* 2 years experience in a similar role
* Exposure to the Class 1 residential Construction sector (Highly desirable)
* Working knowledge of the Building Code and regulations
* Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
* Experience with SAP, AAC, DataBuild & relevant Estimating software
Skills
* High level communication, influencing and negotiation skills in stakeholder management.
* Ability to analyse and resolve complex problems which may require the involvement of multiple parties.
* Ability to make sound evidence-based decisions under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
