Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Parts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the parts department, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of the parts department.
* Maintain inventory levels and ensure the availability of parts.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales.
* Coordinate with service and sales departments to meet customer needs.
* Effectively manage and motivate a team of 5-10 staff across multiple sites.
* Train, supervise, and evaluate parts department staff.
* Negotiate with suppliers and manage relationships with multiple OEMs.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using inventory management software.
