Connect Wanju, in partnership with the Department of Justice, delivers the GCIP, supporting people within the court system to access timely, meaningful treatment and support.
As a Case Worker, you will provide strengths-based, person-centred case management including AOD counselling, motivational interviewing, and tailored treatment planning to support participants to make positive, lasting change.
Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload, delivering individual and group interventions.
* Coordinate referrals and actively connect participants with community supports and services.
* Deliver person-centred case management, including AOD counselling and motivational interviewing.
* Prepare accurate, timely, and high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain confident, compassionate presence while navigating complex situations.
Qualifications
* Qualification in Counselling or a related field.
* Demonstrated counselling and motivational interviewing skills.
* Strong assessment and case management capabilities.
* Experience working effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Strong written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Valid WA Working with Children Check and a National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months.
