This senior role is responsible for managing high-value accounts and developing the capability and capacity to service both existing and new opportunities.The Account Director will drive business development, revenue growth, market share, innovation, and strategic co-creation initiatives with key partners such as Cisco, Microsoft, NICE, Fortinet, and SingTel affiliates including NCS.With regional accountability for a significant and growing portfolio, this role is critical to delivering long-term success across Queensland government departments, local health districts, and community agencies. You will work in close collaboration with internal teams including Pre-Sales, Sales Specialists, and Business Development to accelerate Optus’ footprint and influence within the sector.The Day to DayLead and grow a portfolio of Queensland State Government accounts with strategic, long-term planning.Build trusted relationships with executive and IT stakeholders to drive customer loyalty and account expansion.Develop and execute integrated account strategies across departments, health districts, and agencies.Drive innovation through co-creation, proof of concept and joint product development with partners.Champion Optus’ brand and market positioning in government and the broader ICT industry.Secure new government customers and grow revenue across core Telco, CX/EX, Cyber, ICT and Managed Services offerings.Engage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and maintain strong customer satisfaction.Oversee forecasting, governance, CRM data quality, sales operations and compliance.Lead internal alignment on customer strategy, employee experience and performance outcomes.About YouYou are a seasoned sales and relationship leader with deep knowledge of the Queensland government and ICT landscape.
