Role Purpose:
Our
ATSILS Mount Isa Office
is seeking an experienced
Criminal Law Legal Practitioner
who is passionate about social justice. As one of Queensland's largest legal practices, we offer a dynamic opportunity for extensive court work, allowing you to advocate in a variety of courts, including youth jurisdiction.
About You
Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland and hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate.
Holder (or eligible for immediate application) of a current Queensland Government Blue Card prior to commencing work.
Demonstrate a high level of professional service in all aspects of Criminal Law, covering both adult and youth jurisdictions.
Ccurrent Driver Licence and willingness to drive for work.
Minimum of two years full-time post-admission experience, resilience to handle complex cases, and ability to develop culturally sensitive service skills.
