Reporting directly to the CEO, the Communications Manager will lead all aspects of the organisations communications efforts—balancing day-to-day activity with longer-term strategy. You'll play a key role in raising awareness of how technology is transforming the industry, sustainability, and efficiency nationwide. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver a cohesive communications strategy aligned with organisational goals and policy priorities. Manage content creation across digital platforms, newsletters, media releases, and industry reports. Support the CEO and senior team with speaking points, media engagement, and advocacy campaigns. Build relationships with media and key stakeholders to elevate the organisations profile. Provide communications support for major events and member engagement initiatives. Monitor industry trends to inform positioning and identify proactive media opportunities. About You Proven experience in communications, public affairs, and media relations—ideally in government, peak body, industry association, or membership-based organisation. Strong writing, editing, and content development skills across multiple formats. Understanding of policy communications and/or government relations is highly desirable. Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, media, and decision-makers. A strategic thinker with the ability to manage both day-to-day delivery and long-term initiatives.
