$160–$180/hour

Up to 10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Review and annotate ophthalmology-specific clinical text, imaging reports, EHR data, and case notes.
* Identify and validate ocular findings, diagnoses, imaging biomarkers, procedures, and treatment plans across subspecialties.
* Audit annotated datasets for ophthalmic accuracy, consistency, and clinical relevance.
* Validate model-generated outputs for medical correctness and provide structured feedback.
* Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to enhance AI understanding of ophthalmic terminology.
* Contribute to the creation of specialty-specific documentation standards and training resources.
Qualifications
Must-Have
* MD or DO degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
* Active medical license in good standing.
* 2+ years of post-residency clinical experience.
* Strong understanding of ocular anatomy, pathology, imaging modalities, and treatment guidelines.
* Familiarity with ophthalmic EHR systems, clinical documentation, and terminologies.
Preferred
* Interest or prior exposure to medical AI, imaging annotation, or clinical informatics.
