Job Title: Classroom Support and Learning Facilitator
Job Description
This part-time, temporary position requires 20 hours of weekly commitment to support students in a classroom environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of special needs, including autism spectrum disorder, and have experience working collaboratively with teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement programs to support individual and small group learning
* Document progress and provide regular updates to teaching staff
* Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement educational programs
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A valid NSW Working with Children Check
* Compliance with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
* Knowledge and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission
* Experience working with children with special needs, including those on the autistic spectrum
* Awareness of student allergies and training in EpiPen use
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
