Admin and Accounts Assistant

Latitude Recruitment is pleased to be working with Skookum Technology Ltd, a market leader in the solid wood processing and bulk materials handling industries across New Zealand and Australia. With almost 30 years of experience, Skookum is renowned for its engineering excellence, innovative solutions, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

We are seeking an Admin and Accounts Support professional to join the team in Mount Gambier, supporting Skookum's Australian operations as the company enters its next phase of growth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment while playing a key role in delivering outstanding results for customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration & Accounts Support:

* Assist with accounts and work closely with the Group Finance team in NZ
* Process supplier invoicing, purchase orders, approvals, and receipting using Netsuite
* Maintain filing systems and ensure safe disposal of documents

Operational Support:

* Set up projects in Netsuite and input sales summaries and budgets
* Manage purchase orders, receipting, and expense claims
* Provide financial insights during team meetings
* Ensure accurate timesheets for all staff
* Communicate with customers and suppliers, support credit control, and assist site teams
* Manage travel bookings, office supplies, PPE, and staff purchases
* Organize monthly BBQs and social club activities

Office Management:

* Support employee onboarding and induction
* Handle calls, emails, and customer queries
* Provide admin support for Health & Safety and apprentices

Key Competencies:

* Strong priority-setting skills to focus on critical tasks
* Dedication to meeting customer expectations and fostering team morale
* Commitment to continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation
* Proficiency in systems such as Netsuite ERP, PowerBI, MYOB Payroll, Hubspot CRM, SiteDocs, and Office 365

Personal Attributes:

* Energetic, self-motivated, and commercially focused.
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Understanding of engineering and project processes.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Details:

Location: Mount Gambier, South Australia

Part time: 30-38 hours per week
