ABOUT THE ROLE
The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is looking for a highly motivated individual with previous experience in venue or motorsport operations to fill the role of Motorsport Operations Manager.
This role is responsible for managing our motorsport operations with a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, and cost control.
You will lead our motorsport department consisting of one full-time and two casual staff, ensuring all aspects of our motorsport operations are planned, documented, and delivered effectively.
Key aspects of the role include:
1. Planning and documenting motorsport activity and processes.
2. Preparing motorsport equipment and facilities.
3. Monitoring motorsport activity for compliance.
4. Responding to track incidents and hirer needs, including maintenance tasks and cleaning.
5. Assisting in the planning for major events
The role requires flexibility to work as part of a seven-day roster, including weekends, early starts, and late finishes, in line with the needs of venue hirers.

ABOUT US
The Circuit's core business is hiring the venue to customers who promote and operate corporate drive/ride days and events including the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, Historic Cars, Shannons Speed Series, Island Magic and the Australian Superbike Championship. In addition, we promote and organise the Australian Round of the Superbike World Championship.
Other important aspects of the Circuit's business include:
* Operation of a tourism facility and visitor centre including go karts and historic car and bike museum; and
* Hospitality food and beverage operations.
